    I have an older Snap On scanner that I really like. I went to the auto parts store and bought one for about $300 which I didn't really like. It worked well but someone decided they needed it more than me and stole it out of a car. I have been eying this one very closely. What this kit has and can do and the hard molded case makes this one a great price for what you are getting.     When I was working at the dealership I refused a few cars because of the mess.

    I was talking a few months ago to an old-timer who has been building race engines for 50 plus years and he mentioned something about never turning his radio off in the shop. I am wondering if anyone has ever heard the significance or reason behind this? You could bearly hear the radio was on but thought it was interesting.

    Wow, that's a new one on me. I have never seen that stunt pulled before Pretty smart if you ask me. (and yes it should be illegal)

    Honda had a recall on their late 90's civics for floor mats getting stuck under the pedal. We had to install an anchor to hold the mats in place and now all the new cars come with the anchor's already installed. Of course, this doesn't help if you have aftermarket mats. I have had the mats stick and hold the pedal down before. Its pretty scary when it happens. Not saying anything about Toyota directly just staying what we saw at Honda.

    You are correct that its customer retention not "new" promotion. I missed that part of the discussion. I would be interested to hear about a company like this one for "new" customer promotion.

    I'm with Brian on this one. Mitchell1 does my CRM. Not sure that I want more people having access to my records and Mitchell1 already does and they do it seemlessly.

    I do my Saturday schedule by appointment only so if I have something else that I need to do on that day I can choose to not work. Makes it much easier than a set time frame on Sat.
