  1. I have always had good success in small claims court cases. We have been a defendant on two different ocassions and we prevailed in those. We have been the plantiff on three ocassions and prevailed in those. Only once have I had one of these break in deals where I settled. That was only because I believed my guy probably left the car unlocked.
  2. My oil dispensing equipment is furnished by my bulk oil vendor at no cost to me. We have a 275 gallon tank with pump, reel, and meter (5-W-30). We do not have room for more tanks so we also have a steel rack with three 120 gallon square plastic totes that we use for 10-W-30, 5-W-20, and Mercron-Dextron ATF. These totes have ball valves and ends for dispensing product much like the drum racks your are describing. The vendor comes with a bulk oil truck when I need it and fills the tank and/or totes. Buying bulk oil is much cheaper than buying quarts or 55 gallons of oil. Our oil costs substantially less than $2.00 per quart. You can choose what type of oil you want. Do you want the house brand (cheapest) or a name brand (higher). The advantage of this system also is that there are no extra drums of oil to store, there are no drums to man handle, and there are no drums or oil bottles to dispose. My recommendation would be to contact a bulk oil vendor in your city and see what could be possible.
  3. Tell him you you talked to your insurance and by law you are not responsible for someone breaking into his car. You are sorry but he shouldn't have left the vehicle there that long. That that was an invitation for something to happen. Then let him do what he wants. All he call do is take it to small claims and I think you will win if he does that. However, I don't think he will do it but only bluster and threaten. What kind of car was it?
  4. Gonzo, how can you ever find time to go fishing?
  5. My understanding is that legally we are not responsible for that type of thing unless we chose to have it covered as long as the vehicle is properly secured. 2 1/2 months your storage charges could equal any lose. When someone leave a car that long anything can happen.
  6. For $100 bucks you get a code reader not a scanner.

  8. As I was driving home one day feeling a little depressed at how my life was going. I saw a yard sign that said: NEED HELP? CALL JESUS 1-800-705-3787 Out of curiosity and desperation, I did. It was a Latino with a lawnmower.

  12. What is nice is that when we do not know something individually there is usually someone that knows the answer.
  13. That is a potentially affordable solution.

  21. Many times when you ask the person with a problem who is in such a hurry "how long has the light been on" or "how long has it been doing that" and they will tell you anywhere from several days to several weeks. Very rarely is it a condition that just started today.
