  1. The part was OEM. It fix the car and we made more money and still saved the customer $100.
  2. Mudlick is currently beginning to work with Carx franchise.
  3. Febreeze, Febreeze, Febreeze! Did I mention Febreeze?
  4. IN this situation I took the number off the old part and called the dealer for the price. The part number had not changed. We have a local Euro dealer who won't give out part numbers. No wonder since they only discount Suggested by 10% and do not deliver and act very condescending to us poor ignorant none dealer shops.
  5. Classic example of someone who knows how to fix cars but does not know how to run a business.
  6. If it is illegal we are all in trouble. Wonder how Star Bucks gets by with such astronomical markups?
  7. The part was actually $121.69 and shipping was $40 by FedEx. Although this a gray market part it has a warranty of one year except electrical parts are 3 months. Actually the part got to me as fast as it would have through my local Hyundai dealer. I was amazed.
  8. I took a gamble and ordered from them. The part came from Seoul and was ordered on Friday and arrived today. WOW! It appears to be an OEM Hyundai part. Warranty??????
  9. We all have our way of doing things and our approach to technology and tools. My purpose on this forum is not to disparage but to provide information, help, encouragement, and entertainment when we can. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder and the same with technology. Some of us use software programs that others would touch with a ten foot pole. If things work and we are successful that more power to us.
  10. Thank you AME and Five Star. This is going to be helpful.
  11. All valid points!
  12. How long would it be Fed Ex Air?? Probably a weeK if they ship right away.
  13. Has anyone ever heard of or used Four Green Auto Parts. Look like they are a gray market seller of Korean Vehicle auto parts. A part that lists for $357.34 costs me $285.87 from the dealer and is $161.89 through them. The parts ship from Korea I just learned. http://www.fourgreen.com/store/scripts/default.asp
  14. What extractor do you use?
  15. That will take all the fun out of driving. About as exciting as riding a subway.
  16. We tow cars in with my pickup and a tow strap. Our shop is a drive through with a door at each end.
  17. Any chance of getting you to share your quiz?
  18. Sounds like our town. A few years back Vavoline bought the Grease Monkey locations. Now all the Valvoline quick lubes are closed.
  19. Passing a drug test is the biggest hurdle.
  20. This one was so filthy and in such bad shape we probably did him a favor by not working on the vehicle. it should be condemned.
