  1. We try to attain a 50% gross proffit margin on parts. TRACS has the ability to set pricing any way you want. We mark everything up from cost. You can create a matrix that marks lower cost items up a little higher & higher cost items a little lower. Overall we want 50% GP. You really need to know how much gross proffit dollars you need to cover your expenses and make a little proffit. That will determine what your mark up needs to be.

  3. I see the Napa Autocare Logo, have you looked at www.napaautocare.com? There is a lot of training available there. Both self paced on the web & instructor lead. Is there a Napa Business Development Group in your area? In our group we are constantly bringing training to Sacramento, and we decide what classes we want rather than waiting for whatever a vendor decides to bring. This month we have a management class for Service Advisors & Owners. We are also organizing our 3rd "Advenced Hybrid Class".
