This thread is somewhat disturbing. We complain about low cost / low quality parts, undercutting shops, and are trying to get away from being a commodity and become a service. I know I could pay less for processing, but I have a local rep who provides excellent service. If my goal is to provide the best service with price a distant second,, shouldn't I look at my providers in a similar way?

1 Does the oil meet the specs and have the approvals I need? 2 Is it sold in quantites that fit my business. 3 Service and price.

I don't buy anything that I know is Cardone. Calipers are undercar express - supposed to be domestically reman, racks and power steering pumps - oe or used oe. Napa uses a different supplier than cardone now for pumps, I have one installed for about 6 months now with no issues. OE parts look better all the time.
