  1. Injectors egr cooler and oil cooler should be done 1.5 day at most, High Psi Oil pump would be for an stc fitting repair kit. We do alot of work on these, a compentent mechanic can pull the cab on one in 3 hrs. If you need an odd ball part I prolly have it Travis
  2. I have Tabs, I have never used any other software and it does the job, However I have found some major bugs in the system with sales tax and a few other things that they have fixed. I wish I had shopped around a little more, The employee time clock leaves alot to be desired. You can clock out for the day but forget to clock out on a job then it stays clocked in all night and is all but impossible to edit. For the money it definatly gets the job done, but i get the feeling thier might be something better? Travis
  3. We are a Diesel Specialty Shop In Foster Ky, Cincinnati Ohio Market. We do 95% diesel work and 90% of that is pickups. We specialize in the powerstrokes that is where we have made our market niche however we do our fair share of duramax and cummins work. Since we moved into our new facility 3 years ago we have pretty steadily been few weeks backed up. I Found this forum recently (because I have always been an avid diesel forum user and new thier had to be a place similar that would help me in my shop) I want to grow my buisness and not become stagnet. We have made a good name in the area and reguarly work on stuff from well over an hour away. The Diesel Market is very tough, In our area everybody with a 2 car garage and a premier account is a diesel performance shop and sells for pennies over cost. The internet and the sales tax scam that it has cost is another rant I will not get into today!! It is extremely hard to Make it as a "Performance" shop you are most definatly have to have your own product to be a succesful performance only shop. For the rest of us you have to make your bread and butter on your day to day repair work and your bonus money on your performance stuff!!! Mph Enterprises MPHDiesel.com
  4. I have most defiantly seen this before. My Mom in 2001 Bought a new mustang cobra (her mid life crisis) It had a very specific recommendation of a synthetic oil at a at the time extended oil change interval of 7500 miles. I was away at college and the dealer she bought it at offered a very reasonable cost of oil change, so i told her to just have it done their. After about 40k miles I returned and started servicing it my self and she questioned the high cost of doing it our self, at first I attributed it to their bulk qty costs but after a while I got to looking at the old receipts they were just putting conventional oil in it. The Dealer does not always know best!!
