Hello
I am interested in the RPM tool kit and wondered if anyone has used it and could provide feedback? How well does it integrate with RO writer? What's the support like etc. So far all my research I have done seems pretty positive.
Thanks

I would account for the small things as well like compressed air, AC machine, brake lathe( or not depending), plan and budget for a subscription to mitchell, all data or identifix, two post lift/lifts etc.
Hi guys,
I had a great phone call with them and it seems cost would be around 1000 a month. They require you use RO writer as far as I can tell and for that cost you get a website, SEO(search engine optimization), marketing etc. They seem pretty friendly and put together.
I would let them speak to the mechanic within reason. I feel this is part of why people seek out independents so they can have direct contact with the mechanic
I am using a program called live plan to write my business plan. They have a lot of example business plans that you can see and utilize, you can actually import parts of the example directly into your template. The nice thing is liveplan walks you through everything and it's intuitive, much more so than sitting down and trying to do it in microsoft word.
Here is the website check it out:http://www.liveplan.com/
Also a note on break even analysis, it took me a while to figure out how to do this but the best I have found is to calculate gross profit percentage and then use that as follows:
Gross profit margin percentage = Gross Profit/ Gross Sales (GM = GP/ GS)
Break-even sales revenue = total fixed costs/gross profit margin percentage. (BR = FC/GM)
Hope this helps.
