One new feature that we're adding today is a "Best Answer" feature, so that the topic starter can mark the reply that suited them best. This will help readers jump to the solution. For now, we've only enabled it in the forum Need Business Help? Post Here! Basically, the topic starter will see a button called "Best Answer" Once they click that button, that post will be marked as the best answer for that topic On teh top of the topic, readers will see We'll add this to the other forums in the coming weeks after we see if it catches on.

I just recertified last week for my A4, A5, C1, & P2 exams and it was my first time doing it at a prometrics test center on a computer. I have to say I was impressed and got my results immediately.

We've been working on the next chapter for AutoShopOwner, which includes an ovehaul of our website, which was put together with the idea that bigger is better! Today's modern computer screens are bigger and allow for a fluid width websites and the ability to fit more on the screen. We have had the option here of moving to a fluid layout for some time (extended option lower left of this site) but that hasn't been our standard. In addition it's time to bring in some new features and some back end improvements to allow us to manage this community more efficiently as it grows. We will be launching the new website in the coming weeks, but I wanted to share some pictures of the new layout with everyone before hand.

Thanks They say 10-15% active member base is a good average for a forum based website. We get visitors that read and do not register unless they see a topic they want to reply to or get some help. The only way to increase registration is to block content to guests, but we really don't want to do that because the search engines frown on that. Last year I helped a shop owner research a negative review on Yelp. Yesterday I heard on the radio, a man who moved to NYC used Yelp all day long to find businesses and places to eat. Seems to me that Yelp reviews is growing....along with Foursquare. Reviews are everywhere, Yelp, Google, etc...it's getting more an more important to watch yours.
