Very nice website. Looks to be search engine optimized well. When I type "ken's auto service" in Google, it comes up. Does it come up for your area? I see your keywords are good, and zip code targeted:

auto repair, car repair, automotive service, auto garage, mechanic, brake repair, engine repair, shocks, struts, suspension work, air conditioning, tune-up, akron, canton, springfield, cut-rate, mufflers, exhaust, 44312, 44310, 44305, 44301, 44308, ohio, brakes, tune ups, diagnosis, towing, radiators, computer diagnosis, fleet repairs, starters, guarantee, warranty, certified, ASE.

Looks good, nice layout.

I don't have a site up currently, but do have some expericence with them.

That is quite a bit of traffic. I need to build a Facebook page for our business also.

Yeah, I also use a google function called "Local Business Center" which is another free listing that Google offers. You can edit your existing listing on their site and "own" it. You can upload information about your business, hours, pictures, etc. It also tracks your hits to your listing. I get over 2500 impressions monthly with around 700-1000 clicks for more information. I have had tremendous success with it. When I created the Facebook page, Google automatically picked it up and attached a link to it under my listing. That is where the traffic is coming from mostly.

I would suggest everyone set up this Local Business Center, it is the single most successful advertising that I have done to date and it didn't cost me a dime. See one of my listings here: One location. Each individual shop has a listing with pictures and info. Google is amazing.

I recently got my website redesigned. What do you guys think? Its a work in progress but this is main idea.

www.CARMandP.com

Looks good. I like the graphics and layout. You have some JS (javascript) errors. 3 that I see when the pages load. (Internet Explorer 8) You may want to have your designer look into that.

Your keywords are:

car, auto, tn, white, house, auto repair, auto repair white house, auto repair white house tn, car repair, imports, import auto repair tn, foreign, bmw, volvo, mercedes, saab, volkswagon, honda, nissan, toyota, mitsubishi

They are good, however..they are the same for every page. You may want to do something let's say for this page: Our Auto Repair Services , and add some of those services in there. Make each page as unique as possible.

I would also include your shop name as part of every title, like:

About Us - CAR Maintenance & Performance

Our Auto Repair Services - CAR Maintenance & Performance

It's not always great to copy a site title to every page, but in your case...the words CAR and Maintenance are good title key words.

You should resubmit your website to:

Google.com

Bing.com

Yahoo.com

dmoz.org

Currently in google, you have 2 listings only and they are from 2008: Google

Hopefully this will help you a bit. :D

Nice layout. You should change your page title tags and add Hogan Muffler in there. Every page has the same page title: Performance Exhaust Topeka Kansas, Auto Repair Services, Mendrel Bending, Mufflers, Brakes

Also a JS error in IE8

I have seen some incredible websites that have been created. I am thinking that the one i created is nothing to be compared to the ones i have seen. But i am just a beginner in webdesign so i have a long way to go.

So I am Creating a site for my cuzin's repair shop. I am open to suggestions, If you happen to come across a count down screen refresh, As i will be removing it tonight for a few days for some feed back. It doesn't go live for 18days. So i want to make any and all changes i need to.

It always amazes me when I hear about a technician who quits one repair shop to go work at another shop for less money. I know you have heard of this too, and you’ve probably asked yourself, “Can this be true? And Why?” The answer rests within the culture of the company. More specifically, the boss, manager, or a toxic work environment literally pushed the technician out the door.
While money and benefits tend to attract people to a company, it won’t keep them there. When a technician begins to look over the fence for greener grass, that is usually a sign that something is wrong within the workplace. It also means that his or her heart is probably already gone. If the issue is not resolved, no amount of money will keep that technician for the long term. The heart is always the first to leave. The last thing that leaves is the technician’s toolbox.
Shop owners: Focus more on employee retention than acquisition. This is not to say that you should not be constantly recruiting. You should. What it does means is that once you hire someone, your job isn’t over, that’s when it begins. Get to know your technicians. Build strong relationships. Have frequent one-on-ones. Engage in meaningful conversation. Find what truly motivates your technicians. You may be surprised that while money is a motivator, it’s usually not the prime motivator.
One last thing; the cost of technician turnover can be financially devastating. It also affects shop morale. Do all you can to create a workplace where technicians feel they are respected, recognized, and know that their work contributes to the overall success of the company. This will lead to improved morale and team spirit. Remember, when you see a technician’s toolbox rolling out of the bay on its way to another shop, the heart was most likely gone long before that.

Thanks to our Partners, NAPA Auto Care, NAPA TRACS and Automotive Management Network Dan Clark explores how emotion surpasses reason in driving action, particularly in sales, emphasizing the power of storytelling to activate specific brain chemicals. He shares personal experiences, including his recovery from paralysis, to illustrate the impact of belief and a strong "why." The conversation delves into societal stigmas around emotional expression, especially for men, and the importance of genuine connection. Clark further explains how leveraging brain chemistry through storytelling enhances influence and strengthens customer relationships. He concludes by stressing that businesses should prioritize deep human connections over mere transactions.
