For the shops out there using Facebook ads I’m curious if you are managing your own ad campaigns or if you have a company doing it for you?

i tried a few campaigns on my own that charged per like.  I found that even though the region and demographics were clearly set there were people far outside my target area which ended up likening the page.

If you have someone managing your campaign can you let me know what company you use and if you do it on your own what are your tips or tricks and what is your specific call to action?

We use Opt Soc Media too. Only use the facebook plan. Cost is $150 per month. They do 1 post per day Monday thru Saturday. Working great! Worth the money for the time you save. I still post too. You can tell which posts are mine. Check it out at Facebook.com/RiversideAutoCovingtonLA

I also use Optimize Social Media. They are great. Whenever we have something going on or are doing a fundraiser I just email or call with details and they handle it. Our social media presence and responses way up, and it’s helped with our website hits and google presence. They also have a discount if you’re a NAPA Autocare Center. I tried doing it myself for a few months and just spun my wheels. It’s been worth every penny!

Thanks everyone!  Appreciate the feedback.  I signed up for Optimize Social Media late last week.  I'm looking forward to seeing their work.  Thanks again!!

I looked on your Facebook page and saw a lot of posts, but very little response. Are you also doing ads? I didn't see any boost on your posts, do you boost sometimes?

Anyone else using this company also doing ads on Facebook? And if so, what is your budget?

I'm using someone local to place my ads but not sure it's worth what I'm paying them. Wondering about other options or just going back to doing it myself.

I boost some posts, but have no FB ads. The posts that I boost are the ones I make. You can tell the difference between mine and Optimized. When I boost them, they will go to Instagram too. Boosted posts going to Instagram get a lot of likes, usually close to a hundred. The boosted post will not show up on the Instagram page though. I recently read that about 3% of people that like your FB page will actually see a post. The low feedback I think is normal. Well, I wouldn’t say it’s low bc we are getting a lot more page likes and some people tell me they see the shop on FB a lot more often now.
